Artist applicants must meet a standard of artistic proficiency satisfactory to the Membership Jurying Committee. Applicants must submit at least three examples of their artwork.

There are two ways that you can submit artwork to the jurying committee:

  1. Applicants can bring three examples of their artwork to any League Member Night. If you choose this method you must call Louise Fucci, Membership Chairperson at (516) 735-1516 for an appointment on the member night you wish to attend.

  2. Applicants can mail in at least three, but no more than five color slides of their artwork. Sculpture may require additional views. Slides must be 35mm cardboard mounted and must be accompanied by a completed membership application, a five dollar jurying fee and a stamped, self-addressed #10 envelope. Mail to: Louise Fucci, Membership Chairperson, National Art League, 44-21 Douglaston Parkway Douglaston, NY 11363. Slides and notification will be returned by mail.
