   I have been painting for the last 28 years and am a member of the Floral Park Art League, Art Guild of Port Washington at Elderfields, the Sunnyside Artists and the National Art League in Douglaston, NY.

   I believe a person does not have to be a great artist to create something pleasing to oneself and others. It is a cliché that art is in the eye of the beholder but it is a true cliché. When I paint, I enjoy the process and what I create is what I see and feel. There is so much to learn in the world of art and the people I have met on my journey have become some of my best friends. Admiration, support, appreciation and help on my journey are some of the positive products of being an artist. With art, I see the beauty of the world around me and it makes me happy and my life better.
