Marie Marsina

 

  Ms. Marsina paints in watercolor and oil, having studied with Ralph Acosta,

Marc Josloff and Howard Rose. She has also taken drawing classes with Paul David Elsen and Maxine Nodel.

   Finding inspiration everywhere, Marie interprets her subjects creatively, striking a balance between abstract qualities and representational appearance. She has been honored with numerous awards, has presented her paintings in local shows and her artwork is included in several private collections. 

  In 2004, Ms. Marsina was elected the President of the National Art League (NAL) where she still maintains the role. She is also the Treasurer of the Douglaston Civic Association and was the curator for the Parlor Art Gallery in Douglaston for eight years. Marie is a native New Yorker, is an active member of her community and lives in Douglaston, NY.
