This class will focus on portraying the figure by challenging techniques and mediums in a contemporary

We will explore flat planes of color, high-key chromatic exploration, mixed media implementations, and psychological expression. Initial classes will focus on bringing concepts to fruition from initial sketches to final pieces.
The instructor will discuss with each individual student their ideas, perform demonstrations and provide tips on developing and completing their projects. Each class builds upon the previous class addressing varying steps in indirect and direct painting methodologies and techniques.
