Marc Josloff

Marc currently teaches a Zoom watercolor painting class on Thursday from 3:45pm - 5:15pm.

About the Instructor

Marc Josloff is a former Pratt Institute graduate. He later studied with Mel Stabin, Irwin Greenberg and Paul Ching Bor.

In 2004 Marc was one of 11 artists featured in “Ones To Watch” in Watercolor Magic magazine and his painting “Boy on a Scooter” was purchased by the Art Students League of NY for their prestigious permanent collection.

A versatile artist, Marc is a signature member of the Hudson Valley Art Association (traditional school of painting) while being featured in The Art Book 2020 (a volume of 58 world contemporary artists). Yet he is also considered an impressionist painter whose work was selected for SPLASH 19, 2019: Best in Watercolor.

Marc has taught painting, drawing and mixed media at the National Art League since 2008. Currently he is concentrating on expressive watercolor (painting with feeling), but occasionally seasons it with drawing or mixed media techniques along the way, so he is the perfect tonic for any watercolorists looking to let their hair down a bit.  His teaching philosophy is to treat each student as an “individual.”
