CLASS TITLE: iPhone Photography and Editing

​Class Description

This class teaches the intricacies of photographing with your iPhone: the horizon, the balance, the subject and the lighting. This class has been designed to cover techniques and enhancement of all photos. It is a basic
introduction to using “The best camera is the one you always have with you”.

 

Simplicity and Information are the keynotes to this workshop
First Module: Settings, including focus, burst, exposure, HDR, grid and more


Second Module: Emphasis on creativity, horizon, and self critiquing


Third Module: Working with editing tools.
 

All levels are welcome

About the instructor:

Howard graduated from the School of Visual Arts and C.W. Post graduate school. He has studied with a number of well-known Metropolitan area artists. Howard has taught oil painting at C.W. Post, the Art League of L.I and currently teaches at the National Art League. His articles on teaching techniques have appeared in The Artist‘s and American Artist magazines. Howard has taught workshops at Hudson Valley, Art Barge at the Hamptons and at Martha’s Vineyard.


His work has been in one-man and group exhibitions in galleries in Albertson, East Hampton, Southampton on Long Island. "Composition is first. A few strokes can make a painting if the foundation is strong. Take risks. Painting can be fun."
 

Howard Rose has also been teaching IPhone photography to libraries, art clubs, and Plein are painting groups for over 4 years.
