Marc Josloff
Marc is a watercolor teacher who strongly believes in personal expression. With an art education background going back to 1971 and with many years in the design field, he has a great deal of experience in visual communication; he teaches something new, while reinforcing
the old, every Wednesday at the National Art League.
Students learn landscape,
portraiture, figure painting, still life
and animal painting… there are no limits. Marc familiarizes all of his students with basic and advanced techniques, whatever they are ready for. Marc received his BA and MS
at Pratt Institute. He later studied watercolor with Mel Stabin, Irwin Greenbereg and Paul Ching Bor. Marc has work in several
permanent collections, including
the Art Students League of NY,
Pratt Institute Archives and the
New York State Museum at Albany. Marc was listed as one of 11
“Artists to Watch” in “Watercolor Magic” Magazine in 2004.
He is a sought-after judge, water-color demonstrator, and workshop presenter in the Metro NY region.
